Is Dark Chocolate Really Good for Our Health? Or is Dark Chocolate Really a Scam?

The question raging around the Internet and health talk right now is how dark chocolate is supposed to be so amazing for our health. But is dark chocolate really good for us, or is the talk about how miraculous dark chocolate just another scam?

People have been eating chocolate (cocoa, or cacao) for centuries, in fact, thousands of years. Historically it was eaten by tribal royals, but now, anyone can eat it. Chocolate can be quite inexpensive or extremely expensive, depending on the quality and how many artificial ingredients it has in it.

Common sense tells us that the best chocolate is probably going to be the most expensive. And you simply do get what you pay for. When it comes to what you are putting into your body, wouldn't you rather eat pure, natural, healthful chocolate, rather than chocolate with additives, preservatives, and more?

All kinds of chocolate are said to have health benefits, but dark chocolate is said to be the cream of the crop when it comes to amazing health benefits. Is all this hype true though? Or is it just another way to sell chocolate?

The fact is, that, while research is still continuing, most of the science coming back is extremely positive. The science is coming in on pure, natural dark chocolate and its derivatives. So, let's take a look at what the science really says!

There will be links in every post so you can go to the source to read the report yourself if you wish and decide for yourself if dark chocolate is really as good as it is said to be.
